We met in Vegreville, Alberta, home of Mr. Noble and his lovely wife, Mel.

Sherry and Jack were the first to arrive at Tony and Mel’s. Kimmy and Sean arrived later that day. Katie arrived Saturday afternoon about 2:00.

We all sat around Tony’s backyard getting to know each other.

It wasn’t at all like meeting strangers; it was if we were family that had known each other for a very long time.
Tony and Mel made us feel as welcome as we did in our own homes. We had a few drinks and laughed and joked a whole lot.

There seemed to be a real thing about ice ending up inside each other’s clothing. LOL

little nervous about what might happen next and even felt the need to
protect himself on occasion.

Vegreville was a Ukrainian settlement and still has many signs of the Ukrainian culture, the giant Easter egg stands as a symbol of that culture.

When we weren’t outside shooting the breeze there were always stories to be told inside to anyone that would listen.
